3 Things Not To Do When Hiring a Tree Removal Company

When a tree falls in your yard or house, the first emotion is panic. I must hurry up and get that tree outta here!
We understand and realize a huge weight (literally a 30 foot tree is about 4,000 pounds!) has been dropped on your plate. Let us talk you down with some tips on what NOT to do when hiring a tree removal company in Atlanta.
  1. Don’t hire a unlicensed  or uninsured tree removal company. Check credentials. Sure you may get a better price when hiring a company like that but they will eat your shirt and you will too if and when one their workers get injured on your property.  Not only can they cause extra damage that they aren’t covered for, you are the one who will pay to get it fixed.
  2. Do not pay a deposit. You shouldn’t pay for the tree removal job until it is done. Many times this can a be “a cut and run” scan. They may do a partial job and leave you with half cut trees and a lighter wallet.
  3. Before hiring be sure they are able to get the proper permits if they are needed. In the City of Atlanta permits are required for cutting down certain trees. Atlanta Tree Professionals are excellent at helping get these filed with you. Let us help you get that “paperwork” done!
Atlanta Tree Professionals is your ecofriendly tree service. This year we are running a campaign “Help Us Plant 300 Trees”.  At every tree(s) removal site we will plant one new tree!
